IMI Software has released a new website for Telemachus Press, LLC, a "work for hire" author services company. Telemachus Press came to IMI Software to improve their web presence by creating an engaging corporate website. They wanted a warm, inviting design with a retro feel that communicates comfort and familiarity. They also wanted not only an easily managed website, but a platform through which they could help promote their published authors work.

What's New at IMI Software?

It's been a while since anyone at IMI Software has contributed to our blog. We're certainly not proud of that but we do have legitimate reasons. We've been quite busy going through a little re-branding and developing a few new client sites. Those of you familiar with IMI Software may notice our new logo. It was created by our new graphic designer and we're all pretty excited about it. So far it's been well received.

We've also launched a number of new websites over the past few months. All of which have been developed using DotNetNuke of course.

Upgrading to DotNetNuke 6 | Issues and Resolutions

I recently upgraded a staging site to DotNetNuke 6.0 from DotNetNuke 5.6.3. All in all things went very well but there were a few issues I encountered specific to the configuration of this particular site. I suspect these scenarios are not all that uncommon so I wanted to share them in this post in case anyone else encountered something similar.
